The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of personality-oriented physical education of schoolchildren. Methodology and organization of the study. To determine the effectiveness of using personality-oriented physical education for schoolchildren, we conducted a pedagogical experiment in the 2021-2022 academic year, in which students of the basic and preparatory medical groups aged 7-17 years in Moscow took part. Research results. A rank system was used to present the results of motor tests of the curriculum and indicators of somatic health. The ranks within the subgroups of thoracic, muscular, asthenoid and digestive body types were established separately. The smallest sum of ranking places indicated the greatest effectiveness in the development of physical qualities and health formation in this subgroup. For each body type, priority areas for the use of physical training tools have been identified. Conclusion. The introduction of the technology of personality-oriented physical education of schoolchildren into the educational process in physical education ensures high efficiency in the development of physical qualities and somatic health, the interest of physical education teachers and students
