Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
An active lifestyle and physical health are becoming increasingly important aspects in modern society. This is especially true for students who often spend most of their time studying and in front of the computer. However, in order to maintain good physical shape and improve the performance of young people, it is necessary to conduct extracurricular activities and play sports. Monitoring is carried out to assess the strength and speed qualities of students as part of extracurricular rope skipping classes. This allows us to identify the individual characteristics of each student and determine his level of physical fitness. During extracurricular lessons on rope skipping at the Astrakhan State Medical University, monitoring of the speed and strength qualities of students was carried out. The study included a sample of 61 people aged 17 to 24 years. This article discusses the advantages of using rope skipping to develop the physical fitness of students and increase their sports improvement. Based on the results of the study, we can conclude that there are positive dynamics in the development of speed-strength qualities of the training participants, which confirms the effectiveness of this type of training. Rope skipping is an excellent way to improve physical fitness and achieve athletic performance
