The article examines the impact on the mental state of students of the application of the healing technique using aqua yoga in swimming classes at the university. A pedagogical experiment was conducted at the Russian University of Transport from September 2023 to November 2023. The results of tests assessing the mental state (Tsung anxiety scale (ZARS) and Beck anxiety scale (BDI)), which were conducted in November 2023, found significant improvements in the experimental group (P<0.01). The students of the experimental group had a stabilization of their mental state (the level of anxiety noticeably decreased and became within the normal range), improved flexibility and coordination, and improved health, which indicates the effectiveness and productivity of this healing technique
