The psychological safety of the student group influences the education of students and their future activities in their chosen profession. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of students’ subjective perception of individual elements of the psychological safety of the faculty’s educational environment, and to develop recommendations for its teaching staff. Research methods. An analysis of training marks, which made it possible to identify levels of competency (understanding, knowledge and experience) and a survey in which the “Attitudes towards Safety” questionnaire, updated for training at the Faculty of Psychology, was used. To detect the relationship between indicators of psychological safety of the educational environment of the faculty and the level of development of professional competencies among students, correlation analysis was used. The reliability of differences between indicators of subjective attitude and psychological safety of the educational environment of the faculty by students of various courses was revealed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Conclusions. The data obtained allow us to consider the psychological safety of the educational environment of the Faculty of Extreme Psychology as one of the factors influencing the process of educating a specialist.
