The purpose of the study was to develop a methodology for conjugated physical and technical training of university students in grenade throwing. Methodology and organization of the study. Physical readiness indicators were determined according to testing data, and technical readiness - based on the regression equation (y = 1.34x + 8.59) of grenade throwing (y) and stuffed ball throwing (x) indicators. The study was conducted during physical education classes at the Russian State Social University in the period of 2021-2022 academic year. We have determined the relationship between the indicators of physical and technical readiness of female students at the university with the results of throwing a grenade. Indicators of strength and speed-strength readiness mainly determine the effectiveness of students in this discipline of athletics. Thus, the method of combined physical and technical training of university students in grenade throwing contributed to a higher increase in results in projectile throwing
