The article presents the results of a survey of teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports who took part in the TRP Festival, held at the Plekhanov University. During the survey, organizational conditions were determined that positively affect the quality of the TRP festival in universities. These conditions include: the need for mandatory fulfillment of TRP standards for teachers of physical education departments of universities; determining the degree of difficulty for compliance with TRP standards; availability of a material and technical base for receiving TRP running tests. Significant conditions are: the development of a program for preparing for the delivery of standards of the TRP complex; providing material incentives for festival participants who have successfully fulfilled the standards for the TRP gold sign; acquisition of practical experience of the TRP festival participant by teachers of physical education departments of universities
