In sports science, a special place is given to the issues of training the sports reserve. One of the fundamental tasks of increasing the effectiveness of the process of sports training, as part of sports training, is the systematization of the training loads used. At the initial stages of sports training, differentiation of training loads (TN) mainly occurs through the use of an individual-group planning method for those engaged in various sports qualifications. Thus, the issues related to the structure of loads for athletes of different skill levels are relevant for research. The purpose of the research was to study the process of sports training in general and to identify the structure of training loads in powerlifting among athletes of senior ranks in the macrocycle (MaC) in particular. This article reflects the results of a study of the structure of training loads in the macrocycle of senior athletes in powerlifting. At the initial stage of the study, in order to systematize the existing knowledge in the field of TN differentiation in powerlifting, an analysis of scientific and methodological literature, surveys and conversations with coaches were conducted. Then pedagogical observations were carried out, the final of which was a statistical analysis of experimental data. As a result of the research, it was possible to determine the specifics of the distribution of sports training funds in each allocated period of the MAC. The average values of UOI and average CPSH in one approach were established for each subgroup of exercises used during sports training, in each of the selected intensity zones, in all selected training periods
