RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE RATE OF HEART RATE RECOVERY AND THE QUALITY OF SHOOTING AMONG POLYATHLETES IN THE PRE-COMPETITION PERIOD
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The main direction of research was the search for a method of urgent information about the functional state of an athlete in the pre-competition period for individualization of training sessions in complex trainings. It was assumed that the speed of recovery processes in the athlete's body has a close correlation with the result of shooting in polyathlon. Polyathletes with different types of cardiac rhythm regulation should show different shooting quality if they use the same mode of operation when approaching the firing line and at the firing line. Studies were conducted, including measuring the rate of heart rate recovery in the first minute after the dynamic load of the Harvard step test. To study the quality of shooting, one approach of shooting an air rifle from a standing position was performed. The time of preparation and execution of the test shooting was 20 minutes. The quality of shooting was determined on scoring targets by the number of points, the dimensions of dispersion, deviations from the average point of hit from the center of the target, the coefficient of technical readiness (KTG). The results gave reason to believe that athletes with a high rate of heart rate recovery are more promising in achieving the highest sports results in polyathlon than athletes with a low rate of heart rate recovery. At the same time, the Harvard step test with heart rate registration for ten-second time intervals in the first minute after the load can be recommended as a method of urgent information about the rate of heart rate recovery and the selection of students for bullet shooting
