STATIC BALANCE DEVELOPMENT METHOD IN GIRLS ENGAGED IN RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS AT THE STAGE OF INITIAL TRAINING

Abstract:
Modem rhythmic gymnastics makes high demands on physical qualities development of gymnasts already at the initial stage of training, and, in particular, on the development of balance. In this regard, the development of methods that allow the forced development of this ability is an urgent problem. The purpose of the study: to develop a methodology for static balance development in girls 6-7 years old, involved in rhythmic gymnastics, using small training equipment and prove its effectiveness. To achieve this goal, we used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiment, method of control tests, methods of mathematical statistics. The study was carried out on the basis of the MBU secondary school «Rodina» in Volgograd from May to September 2022. The technique developed by us assumed the use of a set of exercises during the development of static balance, which was performed by the girls of the first experimental group on a balancing pillow, and by the girls of the second experimental group - on a balancing disk. This complex was performed for 10-15 minutes at the beginning of the main part of the training session (for 2 out of 3 weekly sessions). The main method was the repeated-static method. The data obtained at the end of the experiment indicate that the greatest increase in the studied indicators was found in the girls of the second experimental group. Comparative analysis of the results of the girls of these groups indicates the reliability of the identified differences in the motor tests: balance «Attitude», «lateral balance» and «with the leg forward» (p<0.05). Smaller, but also significant changes, we found at the end of the experiment, in the girls of the first experimental group, who performed the developed set of exercises on a balancing pillow
