Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
Introduction. The lifestyle of a university student is accompanied by hypodynamia, which necessitates the search for ways to increase his or her motor activity. Background types of physical culture can partially make up for the lack of movement, however, proper organization and competent implementation of them in the educational process is necessary, which determined the relevance of this study. The purpose of the study: to test the effectiveness of the means of background physical culture (general university exercise, physical training pauses and physical training minutes) in improving the performance of university students. Methods and organization of research. 30 full-time students of KSU named after K.E. Tsiolkovski took part in the study. For 4 weeks, the respondents of the experimental group participated in general university exercise every day, as well as physical training pauses and physical training minutes of various directions were included in their daily routine. At the beginning and at the end of the study, students were asked to fill out a questionnaire for the diagnosis of reduced working capacity (DORS) by A. B. Leonova and S. B. Velichkovskaya; a SAN questionnaire (well-being, activity, mood). Pedometry was used to control motor activity. The Mann-Whitney U-test was used to process the results. The results of the study. The introduction of an experimental set of measures into the educational process is accompanied by a decrease in the fatigue index (10.3%), monotony (8.9%) and satiety (13.1%); a statistically significant decrease in the stress index (17.8%, p < 0.01); an improvement in well-being (21.6%, p < 0.01), activity (12.7%) and mood (18.2%, p < 0.01); increased motor activity of respondents during the day (29.4%, p < 0.01). Conclusions. Thus, the inclusion of background types of physical culture in the students' daily routine (morning hygienic gymnastics, physical training pauses, physical training minutes) has a positive effect on well-being and mood, reduces stress levels, which contributes to an increase in overall efficiency and effectiveness of educational activities
