SOCIO-CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT IN THE SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract:
The article deals with the socio-cultural significance of physical culture and sports in the system of higher education. The aim of the study is to identify the socio-cultural perception of the educational process in physical culture and sports in higher education. The article presents an integrated approach to the process of socialization of modern student youth; effective variations in the formation of a student's value attitude to health and physical culture and sports; the high importance of physical culture and sports in an educational institution of higher education, in which the process of development of a new person takes place, is substantiated. The study revealed the main aspects of the socio-cultural perception of the educational process in physical culture and sports in higher education, such as the formation of moral culture, citizenship, culture of consent, the social value of new information technologies in the field of physical culture and sports. The results obtained will improve the methodological support of physical culture and sports disciplines and increase the efficiency of the educational process. The study is aimed at implementing the objectives of the strategy for the development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030
