The process of humanization of Russian education as a priority task of physical education of schoolchildren has determined the cultural enrichment of its content with folk pedagogical means and traditions. In improving the teaching of the subject "Physical Culture" among schoolchildren in the context of implementing the requirements of the federal state educational standard of basic general education (FGOS LLC), a significant role belongs to the problem of creative use of folk pedagogy in the physical development of the younger generation, since they enrich the arsenal of pedagogical means of the teacher. The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the content and methods of implementation of ethnopedagogical means in physical education classes with schoolchildren in the conditions of the national republic. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the study lies in the identification of theoretical ideas about the ethno-pedagogical potential of physical culture means and ways of their effective use in organizing classes with schoolchildren of the national republic
