TRAINING OF THE THREE-TURN JUMPS IN FIGURE SKATING IN THE TRAINING STAGE

Abstract:
Introduction. The research is devoted to optimization of the process of teaching multiturn jumps at the training stage in figure skating. With increasing of coordination complexity of jumping elements in competitive programs of figure skaters of 9-10 years old the problem of increasing of effectiveness of teaching these elements arises. In this regard, starting from the training stage, it is necessary to organize the construction of the training process, taking into account the individual characteristics of the degree of understanding of the athletes of the execution of multiturn jumps. The purpose of the study is to optimize the process of using of means of teaching to the jumping elements of figure skaters on the training stage of preparation. Results of the research and their discussion. As a result of the pedagogical experiment, we are able to improve the reliability and quality of execution of jumping elements by introducing into the training process imitating and leading exercises based on narrowing the athletes' zone of misunderstanding the main reference points of execution of jumping elements and assess the dynamics of the studied indicators at the training stage. Conclusions. The main misunderstandings of the interviewed skaters are the move from the phase of getting speed to the phase of preparation for the push-off, and then the moment of ungrouping followed by the exit. Training process construction with the use of a set of special introductory and simulation exercises aimed at detailed elaboration of the main reference moments, phases and periods, which are the most difficult in the skaters' understanding, increases the efficiency of technical training in figure skating
