CREATIVE AND PRODUCTIVE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING OF THE CADETS OF THE MILITARY INSTITUTES BASED ON PROFESSIONAL DISCOURSE

Abstract:
The state of the research problem: the significant part of the used approaches to the organization of cadets’ foreign language training has used up productive potential. The urgent need to develop innovative methods of improving the quality and effectiveness of professional foreign language teaching was emerged. The purpose of the article: to reveal the strategy of the creative and productive foreign language teaching of the cadets of the military institutes on the basis of the professional discourse as a pedagogic tool for improving the quality and effectiveness of the professional foreign language teaching of the cadets for the long term. The research was conducted on the basis of the St. Petersburg Military Zhukov’s Order Institute of the Russian Federation National Guard Troops from 2017 to 2022. There are 6 teachers and 288 cadets took part in checking the strategy effectiveness. Research results: the theoretical and methodological pre-requisites for the development of innovative methods of the improving the quality and effectiveness of professional foreign language training are determined; the strategy of the creative and productive foreign language teaching of the cadets of the military institutes on the professional discourse basis is designed and its definition is given; the requirements for the used in the framework of the strategy technologies are formulated. Conclusions: the problem solution of the developing innovative methods to improve the quality and effectiveness of the professional foreign language teaching remains topical; the strategy of creative and productive foreign language teaching of the cadets of the military institutes based on the professional discourse has proven its effectiveness and can be used in various Rosgvardiya military institutes
