This article presents the study of the features of critical and systemic thinking among students in the digital educational environment. The relevance of this research lies in the need to study the influence of the digital educational environment on students thinking, namely, studying how high speed and processing of a large volume of information flows affects students' ability to think critically and systematically and how digital competence can be interconnected with thought processes. The results of the study showed that students with a high level of digital competence have a higher level of critical and systemic thinking, in contrast to students with a low level of digital competence. These results can become the basis for further study of the peculiarities of students thinking in the digital educational environment, as the educational process is increasingly integrated with digital technologies
