Increasing the effectiveness of the development of professionally important qualities in students

Abstract (English):
The issue of increasing the effectiveness of training future specialists is quite relevant at present. This training imposes serious demands on both the physical and psychological as well as personal qualities of the students. Such requirements are determined by the increasing competition among employees in all areas of professional activity, as well as the emergence of the latest information and digital technologies, which necessitate the required professional growth to work with them. One of the sections of the discipline "General Physical Training," which is mandatory for all bachelor's and specialist training programs, includes a section that provides for professionally applied physical training (PAPT) for students. In the process of PAPT, the formation of professionally important physical, psychological, and psychophysical qualities of students takes place. The general physical training of students creates prerequisites for a more successful PAPT, which, in turn, is manifested through the productivity and work capacity of the students, as well as through the levels of their physical and functional development. PAPT is implemented through special means, which can be general and individual. The purpose of the study is to find means for the effective development of professionally important qualities of students in the field of training 09.03.02. Research methods. The following diagnostic tools were used in the study: observation; testing using the Stroop method, the "Operational Memory" method, and Sperling's cards; processing and analysis of the obtained results. Research results and conclusions. The obtained results indicate an insufficient level of cognitive thinking development among students and confirm the need to search for new means to develop this professionally important quality, as well as to develop the necessary recommendations for this purpose.
