The purpose of the study is to justify the necessity of developing methodological competence of fitness trainers in the process of corporate training. Research methods include the analysis and generalization of scientific and pedagogical literature, as well as a retrospective analysis of the professional experience of the authors as specialists in the field of sports and physical culture. Research results and conclusions. Based on the analysis of documents regulating the activities of organizations providing fitness services to the population, the labor actions of fitness trainers in terms of methodological activities have been identified. A sample list of additional professional education programs within the corporate education system aimed at developing and enhancing methodological competence has been proposed. Criteria and indicators for the formation of methodological competence as a result of training have been defined.
