The study of expert opinion regarding the minimum age of children who begin organized beach volleyball training in municipal and regional sports training centers has great theoretical and practical significance, as it contributes to the growing popularity of this competitive sport (volleyball sports discipline) and increases the number of its adherents and fans in the Krasnodar Region. The purpose of the study is to analyze the opinions of coaches regarding their attitudes towards training sessions in beach volleyball for younger school-age children, as well as the specifics of organizing the material and technical provision of sports facilities and halls in the Kuban region for conducting training for children aged 6-7 in beginner preparation groups. Research methods and organization. The following methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, surveys, analysis of statistical reports, and methods of mathematical statistics. A questionnaire was developed for coaches, consisting of 12 questions that characterize both general information about the respondents (age, gender, years of experience as a coach, and the groups of sports training they work with), as well as questions regarding their opinions on the necessity of lowering the age of children to 6-7 years for the initiation of official sports activities in beach volleyball, their views on the provision of sports facilities in the Krasnodar region with sandy courts, and the material and technical support for training sessions. Research results and conclusions. It has been found that the majority of surveyed coaches consider it possible to lower the age of children to 6-7 years for enrollment in initial training groups for beach volleyball. However, many respondents emphasize the problem of the lack of a sufficient number of equipped modern sports facilities for training, which slows down the development of beach volleyball in the Krasnodar region.
