The purpose of the study – to determine the impact of circuit training on the physical and functional fitness of students. Research methods and organization. The methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, testing, assessment of functional preparedness, pedagogical experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics were utilized. At the beginning of the academic year (September 2023), the initial level of functional and physical preparedness of second-year male students studying at Omsk State Technical University was determined. A comparative assessment of the dynamics of physical and functional preparedness of students under the influence of circuit training was conducted in May 2024. Research results and conclusions. It has been established that the average indicators of physical qualities among second-year male students correlate with not very high values compared to the normative data for their age and cohort, corresponding to the average level of overall physical and functional fitness. It has been revealed that the use of circuit training methods effectively influences the improvement of students' physical and functional fitness at the university.
