Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
To maintain the interest of young people in competitive physical culture and sports activities, it is necessary to study the factors influencing their choice of mass sports events. The purpose of the study is to assess the functional state of the bodies of young men who participated in a competition based on the rules of the musical computer game "Beat Saber" in virtual reality, with varying emotional responses to the completion of competitive tasks. Research methods and organization: analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature, functional diagnostics, surveys, pulse measurement, mathematical and statistical processing of results. The study was conducted at the student fidgetal laboratory of the Nizhnevartovsk State University with the participation of young men who do not engage in sports and participated in the intra-university competition VR "Beat Saber." Research results and conclusions. The functional state of the bodies of participants in the VR competition, whose mood improved after the VR "Beat Saber," is characterized by high indicators of adaptation to physical load, training, and energy supply. The tense functioning of the body, confirmed by the results of the study of the state of vegetative balance based on heart rate indicators, is a factor that contributes to the deterioration of the emotional state of the competitor during the performance of competitive tasks, even with a high motivation to participate in the competition. The obtained results should be taken into account when planning physical education and sports activities at the university.
