The article examines the issues of the effectiveness of boxing matches among athletes of varying qualifications, using the analysis of the Russian boxing championship and cup as an example. The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of competitive matches among boxers of different qualifications in amateur boxing. Research methods: observation, video analysis, methods of mathematical statistics. Research results and conclusions. It was revealed during the study that there is a decrease in the effectiveness of combat actions among athletes in the "MS, CMS" group from the first to the third round. It was established that a large number of strikes in a round and in the fight as a whole does not affect the effectiveness of combat actions.
