Health-improving and training orientation of judo classes in additional education of schoolchildren

Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the effectiveness of the health-improving and training orientation of judo classes in additional education of schoolchildren. Research methods and organization. The study involved 30 boys aged 8-9 years who practiced judo. The training process for the control group was organized according to the curriculum recommended for children's sports schools, while the experimental group followed a special health-improving training program that integrated elements of general and specialized physical training. To assess the effectiveness of the training process, diagnostics of the children's physical fitness, development of memorization techniques, overall cognitive processes, speed of thinking, and mobility of nerve processes were applied, as well as the ability to differentiate essential characteristics of objects or phenomena from non-essential, secondary ones in the dynamics of the training process. Research results and conclusions. As a result of the study, the effectiveness of the developed method of health-improving and training orientation was proved. The obtained data can be utilized by coaches and specialists in the preparation of athletes in judo.
