The purpose of the study is to identify the characteristics of combat health as a component of the professional health of military personnel. Research methods and organization. During the study, an associative experiment was conducted. Within the framework of the experiment, a stimulus-concept was selected that conceptually reflected the essence of the researched area – 'combat health.' The investigation of the content of combat health was carried out through associative statements made by servicemen with combat experience. Research results and conclusions. The analysis of the research results allowed for the categorization of respondents' associative statements across socio-psychological, personal, and psychophysiological levels. At the psychophysiological level, associations such as strong health, stress resilience, strength of the nervous system, and vitality were noted. The most frequently occurring phrase among the respondents was 'to accomplish a combat mission under any conditions.' This can be interpreted in terms of the realization of military purpose as a natural professional norm.
