The purpose of the study is to determine the functional condition of the forwards of the student team of DVGAFC in hockey during their participation in the All-Russian final of the Student Hockey League Championship, in order to form forward lines for the upcoming match. Research methods and organization. Methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation using the hardware and software complex 'Omega-C', and questionnaires to determine the type of temperament were employed. Assessments of the functional state of the attackers were conducted every morning at 8:30. Research results and conclusions. The changes in functional condition identified during the research allowed the team's coach to implement rotation of the offensive trios to enhance the effectiveness and performance of the team in the tournament.
