Research results and conclusions. The presence of local regional experience in creating CEPDC in the subjects of the Russian Federation has been identified. The examination of the current status of CEPDC in addressing the issue of involving preschool children in systematic physical culture and sports activities has revealed the Russian government's attention to the discussed problem, the development of the legislative framework, the existence of a pilot CEPDC in Krasnodar, the availability of developed methodological materials and advanced training courses for CEPDC staff, as well as the establishment and development of CEPDC in 19 regions of Russia and testing centers in 56 subjects of Russia. The analysis of the current state of the issue of involving preschoolers in systematic physical culture and sports activities through the establishment of CEPDC has demonstrated a rapid intensification of the process of addressing the task at hand, as well as highlighted the necessity of forming platforms for the accumulation of testing data on preschool children based in regional sports universities.
