Universal values of physical culture and sports as an important component of implementing historical-sports disciplines within the framework of higher and secondary vocational education

Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the universal values of physical culture and sports, their role in the development and popularization of physical and sports activities both in our country and worldwide, as well as their significance in the implementation of the educational process in higher and secondary vocational education. Research methods: theoretical (analysis of literary and documentary sources) and empirical (systematization, comparison, and correlation). Research results and conclusions. Universal values of physical culture and sports include: traditions, love, health, equality, freedom of choice, mutual understanding, friendship, support, care, honesty, kindness, compassion, justice, the pursuit of self-improvement, self-realization, knowledge, science, peace, cooperation, respect, and others. The universal values of physical culture and sports, as well as the factors contributing to their formation, are of significant importance within the implementation of historical and sports disciplines at the bachelor's and master's levels. They formed the basis for the educational module "Universal Values of Physical Culture and Sports," developed by the team of the Department of Civilization History, Physical Culture, Sports, and Olympic Education at RUS «GTSOLIFK» and the leadership of the Regional Public Organization "Central Olympic Academy," which will become an important component of the educational process in the field of physical culture and sports.
