Biological rhythms are one of the mechanisms that allow the body to adapt adequately to changing living conditions. Knowledge of these rhythms, their positive and negative peaks of development allow for more effective planning of individual, both physical and mental stress, taking into account the emotional state of a person, which is a very important tool for managing the training process in sports practice, especially in the process of upcoming starts. The article presents the sequence of determining the most positive days of an athlete's functional state for the rational distribution of physical and mental loads in order to achieve the best result in competitive activity.
