The decrease in the level of physical fitness of schoolchildren observed at the present time underlines the relevance of the study. The aim of the study is to develop a technology for using local strength exercises performed in a quasi-isotonic mode to improve the physical fitness of schoolchildren. The following research methods were used: literature analysis, pedagogical observations. As a result, the technology of using strength exercises performed in quasi-isotonic mode for high school students has been developed. The use of the developed technology makes it possible to increase the level of physical fitness of schoolchildren, due to the optimal amount of training load in the course of practical physical education classes at school.
