To achieve high results, skiers constantly experience excessive physical exertion, which negatively affects the functional state of the musculoskeletal system, which in turn increases the risk of injury. The purpose of the study: to substantiate the introduction into the training process of a set of measures aimed at preventing injuries in skiers aged 14-15 years. The study involved 14-15-year-old alpine skiers and alpine skiing coaches. As part of the study, the following were conducted: questioning, a lecture session on injury prevention, a pedagogical experiment. After the end of the experiment, athletes stopped using knee orthoses; 55% of those involved lost pain during physical exertion; the number of respondents informed about the pain of excessive use, its relief and prevention increased more than 3 times. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the introduction into the training process of a set of measures aimed at preventing injuries among skiers aged 14-15 years is advisable.
