The article presents an analysis of the content of modern programs on the subject of "Physical culture" for students of general education organizations of different types, critical remarks are made, an attempt is made to classify work programs according to the criterion of complexity or single-type orientation, and also topical approaches are proposed to increase the effectiveness of their practical implementation.
