This article considers the relevance of using the methodology of teaching swimming to persons with intellectual disabilities, which uses a group form of organizing classes with the mandatory participation of parents as integral participants in the educational process. The advantages of choosing the proposed educational technologies in teaching swimming to persons with disabilities taking into account their nosologies are described. Perspective possibilities of application of these technologies are revealed and methodical recommendations for the use of such technologies are presented. Experimental data confirming the effectiveness and feasibility of using this method of teaching swimming to persons with intellectual disabilities are also presented.
