Analysis of the level of development of physical quality of flexibility among university students
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents a study to assess the current level of flexibility quality among university students through the "Slope down" test and to determine the possible limits of its improvement in the age range of 18-19 years by means of performing special tasks of directed action. According to the author, the “Downward Bend” complex TPR test, which evaluates the degree of general mobility of the spine, is not uniquely informative for assessing the development of the general level of flexibility of the subjects, because more important is to increase the level of mobility in the joints, improving technique in most types of sport by increasing the range of motion. In addition, in the current TPR complex, the slight differentiation of 1-3 cm between the standards for boys and girls raises questions, although according to authors observations it should be 3-5 cm.
