Currently, the issue of socialization of the younger generation is becoming relevant in the domestic education system. High employment of parents, oversaturation of preschoolers with various clubs and sections, excessive enthusiasm for digital technologies has led to the inability of an entire generation of children to communicate, resolve conflicts, comply with generally accepted norms of behavior, and preserve cultural values. At the same time, there are examples in science of the positive impact of physical culture and sports activities on these indicators. The article presents data characterizing the effectiveness of an experimental method of socialization of children aged 6-7 years with the predominant use of means of physical culture and sports activities. In the course of experimental studies, such components of socialization as cognitive, communicative, behavioral, emotional-evaluative, physical culture and sports were analyzed. The application of the proposed technique made it possible to significantly improve all the studied indicators in children of the experimental group.
