The problem of accounting for specialization in the process of teaching foreign languages in higher education is very topical at present. It is necessary to build foreign language teaching in close connection with the future profession. The aim of the research: to substantiate the necessity of acquiring by students the communicative competence, the level of which will allow them to apply a foreign language in practical professional and scientific activity, to determine the forms of work, contributing to the successful mastering by students of a specialized foreign language. Professionally oriented foreign language teaching is always aimed at creating scenarios (situations) of communicating in the professional sphere, which is an effective way to increase the productivity of teaching in education.
