The article considers a comprehensive approach to the construction of the training process of professional swimmers freestyle sprinters, based on close cooperation with pedagogical sciences. On the basis of the implemented experiment, the author reveals the features of various pedagogical models, both for individual (swimming) and team (floorball) types of professional sports. The result of the study was the conclusion that the use of the proposed modern pedagogical models with in-depth individualization in the training of swimmers proved to be quite effective not only for representatives of individual sports, but also for team sports.
