Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The purpose of this article is to present the mechanism of professional orientation of athletes based on updated comprehensive professionograms. The main approaches that guided the authors in their research were subject-oriented, system-structural and personal-activity. Because of the analysis of the structure of professional requirements for a modern coach-teacher and professional athlete, presented in the professional standards "Coach-teacher" and "Athlete", the relevant professional functions and areas of economic activity were identified. A large-scale comprehensive psychological and pedagogical survey of respondents made it possible to determine a variable psychological portrait of a successful coach-teacher and athlete, as well as to identify similarities and differences between them. The results of the study will be useful for the development of training programs for trainers and teachers.
