Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
This article explores the role of mediation procedures in resolving conflicts between parents and teachers in the field of supplementary education. In supplementary education parents have more opportunities to communicate with teachers, parents are more demanding, conflicts arise more often, but in addition there are also many more opportunities for dialogue, discussion and resolution of all conflict points. The search for the most effective method for resolving teacher-parent conflicts is still ongoing, so we suggest to consider such a tool as mediation. According to a study conducted on the basis of an educational organization, only half of the parents and teachers in the field of additional education are familiar with mediation, the percentage of those who tried the procedure on themselves is even smaller, but almost everyone who resolved the conflict through mediation noted the effectiveness of this methods. The main mechanism of mediation is the mediation process, this multi-stage mediation process is flexible and promotes individualization to meet the needs of conflict participants in an educational setting.
