The request from society for the development of competencies in future educators at the university level in the design of a safe and comfortable educational environment (PBOS) is relevant in the conditions of social instability and economic tension in Russian society. The polyvariant educational environment of the university allows for the formation of competencies in future educators, a system of knowledge in the basics of psychological safety, skills in assessing risks and threats to the safety of education participants, and skills in designing prevention and correction programs for deviant and destructive behaviors in educational organizations. The operationally-practical component of readiness for future educators in PBOS design implies that students have the skills to apply mediation technologies to regulate conflict behavior among education subjects and the ability to assist children and adolescents in forming constructive behavior models in stressful and conflict situations. The verification of the developed model for preparing students for this type of professional activity is ensured by the presence of spatial-subject, socio-psychological, and psychodidactic components in the polyvariant educational environment at the university.
