The functions of digital didactics in the school education system

Abstract (English):
The article presents a study to identify and substantiate the functions of the digital educational environment. Digitalization is the main element of the educational process in terms of its pedagogical significance. The existing ideas about digitalization in education are stable. However, the range of known functions of digital didactics is far from being exhausted. The author of the article, based on modern research in the field of digitalization of school education, identified new functions of the digital educational environment. At the same time, such trends in the development of education as informatization, humanization, as well as orientation to competency-based, activity-based and personality-oriented approaches were taken into account. The research results complement the existing understanding of the educational process component and can serve as a basis for further studying ways to enhance the effectiveness of the educational process in the digital educational environment of schools.
