The correlation between gender identity and loneliness in adolescence
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The complexity of studying the specifics of gender identity in adolescents is related to the fact that existing models of femininity and masculinity are undergoing changes today. In modern conditions, the boundary between genders is becoming increasingly blurred. This phenomenon creates difficulties for the adolescent, as he seeks to integrate into society, and for this he needs to learn certain social roles, norms, and forms of behavior. According to the results of the study, the authors showed that most adolescents are characterized by an androgynous type of gender identity. The correlation analysis revealed that each type of gender identity is characterized by different types of loneliness.
