One of the main problems facing the global community at present is the significant deterioration of the mental state of college students. The article discusses the use of soft fitness in physical education classes at universities to reduce anxiety and depression levels among students. The results of the scientific and pedagogical research are presented. The data from the final testing showed significant improvement in all indicators in the experimental group compared to the control group. The conclusion is drawn regarding the feasibility of using soft fitness for optimizing and strengthening the psycho-physical and emotional well-being of young people.
