The article presents a comparative analysis of the results of a survey of teachers and future teachers of English on the use of an augmented environment in the process of professional training. The data obtained in the course of the study indicate a partial discrepancy between the views of teachers, junior and senior students on the effectiveness and expediency of creating augmented reality in foreign language classes. The result obtained allows us to conclude that when choosing teaching tools, the teaching staff should take into account the stage of training, the specifics of the subject and the request of students.
