This article is dedicated to the inclusion of a complex of correctional outdoor games in the process of physical education. Their impact satisfies the natural need of children to move, has a significant educational value and allows solving correctional tasks aimed at the psychophysical development of children with intellectual disability. In this respect, the goal of the study was set: to assess the impact of corrective outdoor games on the psychophysical development of 7-8 years old children with intellectual disability in physical education lessons. The results of the scientific research made it possible to assert that the lessons of physical education with the use of correctional outdoor games have a statistically significant effect on the physical development of children with intellectual disability, improving the indicators of speed-strength qualities, flexibility, voluntary attention and regulation of activity
