Introduction - teachers have the opportunity to use a variety of tools and methods for the comprehensive development of students. It is necessary to competently and consciously approach the choice of teaching methods for students. Methodology - it is assumed that playing handball will give a positive increase in the comprehensive development of students' physical abilities. The results obtained - in the course of the study, it was revealed that the game of handball contributes, to a greater extent, to the development of speed and dexterity in students. Conclusions - the use of the game of handball contributes to the development of physical abilities of students.
