APPLICATION OF ADDITIONAL HIPPO-THERAPY LESSONS IN THE PROCESS OF ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF SENIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH UPPER LIMB MONOPLEGIA

Abstract:
The relevance of the study is justified by the need to use additional classes on hippotherapy in the process of adaptive physical education of older students with monoplegia of the upper limb. The article analyzes this problem, which made it possible to develop an experimental technique and implement it in two stages. The purpose of the study is to develop and substantiate an experimental methodology for additional classes in hippotherapy in the process of adaptive physical education of older schoolchildren with monoplegia of the upper limb. Research objectives: to develop a methodology for additional classes on hippotherapy in the process of adaptive physical education of older schoolchildren with monoplegia of the upper limb; to prove the effectiveness of the developed method of additional classes on hippotherapy in the process of adaptive physical education of senior schoolchildren with monoplegia of the upper limb. Methods and organization of the study. As part of the study, on the basis of the Zhivaya Path family equestrian club in the Gorodishchensky district of Volgograd, additional classes in hippotherapy were held in the process of adaptive physical education in two stages during 2022-2023. The pedagogical experiment involved 15-16 year old senior schoolchildren with monoplegia of the upper limb in the amount of 25 people. Research results. Analyzing the data obtained after the application of the method of additional classes on hippotherapy in the process of adaptive physical education of older schoolchildren with monoplegia of the upper limb, significant improvements in the indicators of physical fitness. The effectiveness of the developed technique is experimentally substantiated. Conclusions. The efficiency of application of the developed methodology of additional classes based on the use of preparatory exercises with various equipment and basic exercises, and games on a horse, which were implemented in the form of hippotherapy, was experimentally substantiated and an improvement in the indicators of physical fitness of older schoolchildren with upper limb monoplegia in the process of adaptive physical education was revealed
