The article reveals the significance of coping types, describing individual peculiarities of central nervous system functional status, its strength and lability, heart rate variability markers, typological traits of a person, determined according to extraversion-introversion scale. The aim of the study is - to elicit peculiarities of physical activity dosing depending on coping type. Results. The presented experimental materials indicate that the ability to mobilize the body's spare capacity increases with muscle activity due to a more economical mode of functioning of cardiovascular and central nervous systems together with a high tension of regulatory mechanisms. Practical significance. Experimental studies allow us to state that human coping types are determined not only by the state of psychomotor activity and parameters of autonomic homeostasis, but also by the maturity of psychophysiological properties of the personality, genetically determined and fixed by phenotypic conditioning, which should be taken into account when dosing physical activity, thereby ensuring mental and motor activity, adaptive behaviour types
