JUSTIFICATION OF THE SYLLABUS OF THE OPTIONAL DISCIPLINE "ACTION GAMES FOR PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN" FOR THE AREA OF TRAINING 49.03.01 PHYSICAL CULTURE, PROFILE "PHYSICAL EDUCATION"

Abstract:
The article considers a fragment of large-scale research on the scientific justification of changes in the content of the main professional educational program of higher education in the area of training 49.03.01 “Physical Culture”, profile “Physical education” (bachelor's degree), conducted at the Voronezh State Academy of Sports (hereinafter - VSAS). The study of the needs of the region in the implementation of labor functions by specialists in the field of physical culture and sports made it possible to identify the demand for systematic action play activities with children of preschool and primary school age, taking into account the age characteristics of their development. The purpose of the study is to experimentally substantiate the syllabus of the optional discipline in physical culture and sports “Action games for preschool and primary school age children” for the training area 49.03.01 “Physical culture”, profile “Physical education”. Methods and organization of research. The study was conducted from March 2021 to September 2022 at VSAS. We used such main research methods as: control tests, pedagogical experiment, mathematical and statistical data processing, analysis, generalization, systematization. The results of the study. Based on the analysis and systematization of the results of control tests of students, a syllabus of the optional discipline in physical culture and sports “Action games for preschool and primary school age children” has been developed for the training area 49.03.01 “Physical culture”, profile “Physical education”. The purpose of the syllabus is to form the competence “UC-7” of the students (Able to maintain a proper level of physical fitness to ensure full-fledged social and professional activities). The approbation of the syllabus in the real educational process proved its effectiveness, which was manifested in a positive assessment of the theoretical and practical readiness of the participants of the pedagogical experiment. Comparison of the test results of the students of the control and experimental groups allowed us to establish the presence of significant differences in the indicators of practical readiness (p 0,01). Conclusion. The conducted research confirmed the expediency of introducing the discipline “Action games for preschool and primary school age children” into the content of the main professional educational program of higher education in the area of training 49.03.01 “Physical culture”, profile “Physical education” (bachelor's degree), implemented in VSAS. At the same time, it is promising to test the implementation of its content in the disciplines of optional parts of the curriculum, whose format allows for various types of training sessions
