SPORTS CLUB RESOURCES IN THE PROCESS OF SOCIALIZATION OF FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

Abstract:
The problem of socialization of first-year students in higher education today does not lose its relevance. In the article, the authors describe the impact of the student sports club on the socialization of students in the new learning environment. The authors present the main activities of the student sports club, the results of a study to identify the level of socialization of students who actively participate in the sports life of the university. As a definition of the level of socialization, the method of C.D. Spielberger, adapted into Russian by Yu. L. Khanin, was used: "The scale of assessment of the level of reactive and personal anxiety". The study showed that attracting young people to classes in sports sections, holding mass sports events and holidays contribute to a more successful process of socialization of first-year students.
