Abstract:
The vestibular sensory system plays an important role in regulating the position of the body in space and its movements. The study of the parameters of the formation of the vestibular apparatus in children with intellectual disabilities is of great importance in the development of children of this category. The aim of the study is to develop and experimentally substantiate the technology of vestibular gymnastics in children with intellectual disabilities. The key point of the technology is the consistent presentation to children of the necessary information aimed at the formation of vital skills and abilities based on the pre-created motor potential of the child. An experimental test showed an improvement in vestibular stability in children with Down syndrome in the experimental group, which indicates a positive effect on maintaining balance of the technology of vestibular gymnastics used
