The article substantiates the need to prepare future primary school teachers for the implementation of blended learning in variable models of primary general education. As a result of a survey among students of the Faculty of Training Primary Graduate Teachers, it was revealed that the majority of respondents have an idea about blended learning and its models, but do not see the focus of variable educational models on the implementation of blended learning when organizing the educational process in mathematics. The authors offer some directions for preparing future teachers for the implementation of blended learning in variable models of primary general education (on the example of the subject «Mathematics»): inclusion in the curricula for the training of future teachers of disciplines related to the topic under consideration; inclusion in the content of the process of teaching students in various disciplines the methodological nature of theoretical issues and practical tasks aimed at the implementation of blended learning in variable models of primary general education; fulfillment of tasks for the implementation of blended learning in variable models of primary general education in the process of implementing educational and work practices; implementation of research projects on the problem under consideration; organization of various competitions for students to design scenarios for lessons on the subject of elementary school «Mathematics» using blended learning formats in variable models of primary general education
